DIFICULTADES POR LAS QUE PASARON LOS EXPEDICIONARIOS DE LA PRIMERA VUELTA AL MUNDO
El viaje de Fernando de Magallanes alrededor del mundo tenía como objetivo principal encontrar la ruta de las especias por mar ya que por tierra los europeos se debian enfrentar con territorios hostiles para llegar a continente asiático. El primer obstáculo fueron las cinco pequeñas naves (carabelas) con las que debieron enfrentar los tormentosos océanos.

Ya al mando de Sebastian El Cano y tras atravesar el océano Índico y dar la vuelta a África, Elcano completó la primera circunnavegación del globo, consiguiendo llevar a término la expedición y llegar al puerto de partida, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, el 6 de septiembre de 1522 en la nave Victoria, junto con otros 17 supervivientes de los 234 que habian partido, lo que suponía el logro de una imponente hazaña para la época. Finalmente, el 8 de septiembre, fue descargada en Sevilla esa única nave que había logrado regresar.sábado, 14 de abril de 2018

- Los más importantes eran: el azteca, que ocupaba América Central; el inca, extendido a lo largo de los Andes; y el maya, que había desaparecido a finales del siglo X, pero había dejado grandes restos monumentales.

- Teatro ritual y conocimiento de la poesía y de la poesía narrativa.
- Existencia de tipos de organización social muy avanzados.
- Eran básicamente politeístas: adoraban al sol, la luna y a un dios civilizador.
- Realizaban sacrificios humanos como ofrenda a sus dioses.
- Las mujeres llevan la cosecha al mercado y la intercambian por otros artículos.
- Los hombres debían luchar en el ejército, para imponerse a los pueblos rivales.
- Eran pueblos muy guerreros.
- Desarrollo de conocimientos científicos y manifestaciones artísticas.
- Gran desarrollo en el cultivo agrícola, especialmente el maíz.
- Creación de grandes templos y canchas deportivas para celebrar el tlachtli, un juego de pelota en honor al dios Sol.

SOUTH AFRICA
L1: Hello, she is Daniela Coloma and I am Celia Díez. Today we are going
to talk about one of the of the world’s English speaking countries: South
Africa.
L2: The continent of South Africa is Africa.
Although Pretoria is considered to be the capital of South Africa, the
country actually has three capitals: Pretoria
(administrative capital), Cape Town (legislative capital) and
Bloemfontein (judicial capital).
L1: Some of the most important and famous cities of South Africa, apart
from the capital cities, are Johannesburg, Durban, Kimberley, Port Elizabeth,
Nelspruit and Polokwane.
The design of South Africa´s flag has a black triangle surrounded by
different color stripes. There are some colored horizontal lines.
L2: Actually, the population is around 57, 172 million people.
The currency of South Africa is the rand. The notes have a photgraph of
Nelson Mandela and on the other side they have South African animals. The coins
have animals and plants. A South African
rand is equal to 7 Spanish cents.
L1: The highest mountain of this country is Thabana Ntlenyana with 3482
metres. Then, Makheka and Thaba Putsoa with 3463 and 3455 metres high.
The main rivers are Orange River, Tugela River and Vaal River. If you
add up all their lengths the result will be 3840 kilometres.
L2: The is a big variety of animals in South Africa, but the most common
ones are elephants, buffalos, zebras, lions and cheetahs.
The most famous places of this country are the Drakensberg, the Table
Mountain, the Kruger National Park and the Robben Island.
L1: Some of the most visited monument are Voortrekker, the Afrikaans
Language Monument, the Women's Monument and Nelson Mandela Monument.
Cricket, Soccer and Rugby. These sports are the three most practiced
ones in South Africa.
L2: The most heard music by South Africans are Afrikaans, Kwela, Reggae,
Jazz and Zulu.
The people who live there love meat, but the typical meals are the
Bobotie, the Bunny Chow and the Chakalaka. Bobotie consists of spieced minced
meat, decorated with an egg. Bunny Chow is a bread stuffed with curry inside.
And Chakalaka consists of a spicy dish with carrot, tomato, pepper, etc.
L1: Some of the most famous people of South Africa are Charlize Theron,
an actual well known actress; Miriam Makeba, who was a popular singer and
Sharlto Copley, an actor and film director. But the most famous person in this
country was Nelson Mandela, who won a Nobel Prize because of his work of making
a peaceful world.
L2: With this examples of popular South African people, we finish our
